INSTRUCTIONS FOR FAWCO WEBSITE REGISTRATION

 

1.  Go to www.fawco.org

2.  Move your mouse on ¡°Logout / Register¡± in the black banner on the top right corner.

3.  The black tab will lower and you will see ¡°Login - Forgot Password? - Register¡±

4.  Click on Register

5.  Fill out the form;  * items are required

            A.  Answer ¡°YES¡±  - are you a Member of a FAWCO Club?

            B.  Click ¡°Member¡± – for your Club position.  You can also enter your Title if

                 You have a Board or Chair position.

6.  Once completed, click  ¡°Send Registration¡±.  Your information will be verified (ie that you are associated with a Club and are not spam or a solicitation.  You will receive an email confirming your registration.  This may take a day or two.

 

7.  Upon receipt of confirmation, go back to www.fawco.org and login (top right of black tab).  Now you can navigate throughout the FAWCO website.

 

 

NAVIGATING SUGGESTIONS

 

FAWCO¡¯s website is enormous and can be daunting at first.  Over time, you will find a wealth of information, opportunities for involvement and news that you can use. 

 

To get you started:

 

TOP BLACK TAB  on the Home Page provides major headings & administrative options of FAWCO.  As you move your mouse over these, additional boxes will drop down. 

You can read descriptions of other Clubs like ours (AWC of Korea) by clicking ¡°Membership¡± and then ¡°Member Clubs¡± for example. 

Under US Issues you will US information including Voting from Overseas, Citizenship for foreign born children of American¡¯s and Taxation information.

 

To subscribe to newsletters, click on Membership and then Subscriptions.  There are newsletters on a number of topics of interest.

From this location, you can update your profile.  On the right side of your screen you¡¯ll see ¡°USER MENU¡± in red letters.  Below that is ¡°your profile¡±.  Click on that to add information about yourself.

 

BLUE TAB located left on the Home Page highlights a revolving list of current events.  You can click on any topic of interest.

 

14 RED TAB BOXES are located from top to bottom on the left and center of the Home Page.  These represent each of the Committees of FAWCO.  You can click on any of these tabs which include information including but not limited to Culture, Health & Ageing, Education & Bilingual learning, Substance Abuse, Effects of Conflict, the Environment, UN-NGO issues  and additional US Citizen resources.

 

ICONS located right of center on the Home Page are a quick link to the FAWCO foundation (the philanthropic arm of FAWCO);   FAUSA (for members returning to the USA);  News from other Member Clubs;  Forums;  et cetera.

 

To logout, simply go back to the top right corner of the Black Tab at the top of the page.  Click on Log out.
